This half-day course will cover the following deliverables:

• Lessons learned from the data analysis as it relates to total costs and productivity implications

• Key best practices for productivity gains in mining operations from leading research studies

• Connection between improved safety and productivity opportunities in the mining industry

• Several case studies on leaders who improve productivity and profitability through improved workplace safety

• Ten key take-a-ways for improved safety and productivity in the mining industry

Short Course Objectives:
This half-day short course will address three key challenges for mining operations, workplace safety, cost effective operations, and productivity.

About the instructor: 
Norm Keith, KPMG Law LLP is a former hard-rock miner in the Sudbury Basin who transitioned into a distinguished legal career as a senior practitioner in labour and employment law, occupational health and safety, environmental law, internal and government investigations, regulatory and white-collar defence, and ESG and CSR matters.
