Angelina Mehta - Honorary Co-Chair

Angelina has 25 years of experience in global mining finance, operations, joint ventures and M&A. Having started as a mining engineer at the Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC), Angelina came back to Rio Tinto in 2021, currently serving as VP HSEC (interim) at Rio Tinto Aluminium. 

Angelina is a mining engineer and holds an MBA from McGill University, as well as a Master of Law degree from the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University. She has served on the Board of Directors for several publicly listed junior mining companies including Pershimco, Stornoway Diamond, and Azimut Exploration and is currently on the Board of Lundin Gold. She also served on several non-profit Boards, including WIM Canada and Fondation du Grand Montréal, and is currently on the CMIEF (Canadian Mineral Industry Education Fund) Board.
