Chief Operating Officer 

Alexandre Belleau joined Champion Iron in 2016. As Chief Operating Officer, he oversees many sectors of the company – logistics, operations, exploration and projects, which benefit from his expertise in business development and project management. Driven by a constant desire to innovate and push back boundaries, he fully contributes to the organization’s growth while creating value for employees, host communities, partners and shareholders. 

Prior to joining Champion Iron, he participated in the creation of two startups specializing in building control technologies and bioenergy. He also worked in the energy efficiency and recreational products sectors. Mr. Belleau holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke and is an executive member of the Québec Mining Association since 2018.
