The OMS LEAD Program is designed to benefit all levels of mining leadership professionals. Whether the participant has years of experience or is considering their first leadership role, OMS LEAD caters to the needs of each specific site and its people. We have been offering this program to our mining clients in Canada and in Western Africa in both English and French. The program was created by mining professionals for mining professionals. The workshop is focused on leadership competencies. It is filled with relevant stories and hands on practical team exercises to challenge the participants to “do” the learning as they go. The workshop itself is also an exercise in demonstrating facilitation and engagement in practice. The deliverers are experienced mining professionals. It targets both supervisor (team leads to Manager) as well as those on the technical side (engineers (mine and mech/elect), geos, techs, metallurgist).

Short Course Objectives:

About the instructors:

Etienne has 20-years of experience in mine operations and business improvement at iron ore, copper, gold, coal, bauxite and diamond mines at both open pit and underground mines. He has led large multi-disciplinary AM teams (Mine, Process, Site Services & Power Generation). He has focused on growing people to be at their natural best. He is the creator and lead facilitator of our OMS Lead program. He has extensive experience in change management and operational management (business processes, SAP (4 implementations), Finance and Supply Chain).
