Registration Categories & Cancellation policy

DESCRIPTIONS OF REGISTRATION CATEGORIES


Non-CIM Member fee, except Media, includes a one-year membership to CIM. 

*Business Class, CIM Member, CIM Non-Member, Presenter or Chair, **Student, Retired, Unemployed, Life Member, and Media registration categories include: 
  • Full access to technical presentations 
  • Finance and Management Day 
  • Admission to purchase workshops (choose one per day, per time slot) 
  • Admission to The Expo 
  • A drink ticket for Sunday night Opening Reception 
  • Drink tickets for Monday and Tuesday receptions in The Expo 
  • Lunch for two days on The Expo floor 
  • Joy Global Gala on Tuesday night 
  • Free access to the technical papers on the website after the convention 
  • Access to the PTMSS Symposium*** 

*Business Class registration also includes access to the CIM VIP Business Centre. The Business Centre will have computers and internet connections for laptops and printers. Small meeting rooms and refreshments will also be available. 
**Student registration also includes the Student-Industry luncheon on Tuesday. 
***PTMSS registration gives access to the PTMSS Symposium. 

Guest/Spouse registration: Spouses are guests who do not have any scientific or educational interest in the convention. If a guest/spouse wishes to attend the technical program or workshop(s), he/she must register and pay the full convention fee. The Guest/Spouse registration category includes: 
  • Admission to The Expo 
  • Access to the Sunday night Opening Ceremony 
  • Joy Global Gala on Tuesday night 

The 1-Day Convention registration category includes: 
  • Full access to technical presentations on that day 
  • Admission to The Expo (Monday or Tuesday) 
  • Lunch and access to The Expo floor (Monday or Tuesday) 

The Management & Finance Day (Wed) registration category includes: 
  • Full access to the Management and Finance technical presentations on Wednesday 
  • Closing Luncheon 

The Visitor to The Expo registration category includes the admission to The Expo only

The Exhibitor Staff registration category includes: 
  • Full access to technical presentations 
  • Finance and Management Day 
  • Joy Global Gala on Tuesday night


CANCELLATIONS / SUBSTITUTIONS POLICY

  • A processing fee of $197 will be applied to all cancelled registrations. 
  • After April 17, no refund will be issued for registration fees, and social/guest tickets. 
  • To be pre-registered, you have to send this registration form before April 17. After April 17, delegates are requested to register onsite at the Palais des congrès de Montréal or online. 
  • Substitutions must be submitted in writing by the original registrant by April 17, 2017. 
  • After April 17, the substitute must bring a letter from the original registrant to be processed onsite at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. 
  • CIM is not responsible for airfare, housing, or other costs incurred by participants in the event of program or registration cancellation.
